Netflix spy thriller Black Doves to return for second series
The tense spy thriller series Black Doves, starring Keira Knightley as a politician's wife who is also a spy, is to return for a second series, Netflix has announced
To announce the new series, Netflix has released a video in which Keira and Ben meet up together in a bar decked out with Christmas decorations. Her handler, Reed (Happy Valley’s Sarah Lancashire) called in assassin Sam to help Helen find the killer and work out how the murder was linked to the political secrets Helen had gleaned from her blissfully unaware politician husband, Wallace (Andrew Buchan).
