Netflix Shelves Urban Fantasy Drama ‘The Grimm Reality’
Netflix will not launch 'The Grimm Reality', its urban fairy tale series, but 'Crooks' has landed a second season in Germany.
We’ve learned that the series from Dark producer Wiedemann & Berg and The Gryphon co-producer Dog Haus Films has been quietly shelved. The fate of the show has been a topic of discussion among German producers in recent months, with one source saying it appeared to have “ended up in a dark cellar.” Netflix declined to comment, but the streamer has ditched the project. Others include the recently launched Sixty Minutes, in which a mixed martial arts fighter races across Berlin to attend his daughter’s birthday party or risk losing custody.
