EXCLUSIVE: Richard Gadd ‘s critically acclaimed new hit Baby Reindeer will compete in the Limited Series categories for this year’s Primetime Emmy Awards, Deadline can confirm. The 7-episode show is a lightly fictionalized account of Gadd’s own experience with a stalker, who sent him more than 40,000 emails, as well as hundreds of tweets, letters and voicemails, and has been a surprise word-of-mouth hit for the streamer since its April 11 launch. “None of this would be possible without the amazing people I had working with me along the way – Netflix, Clerkenwell Films, my wonderful team, the directors, crew, and cast, including a certain Jess Gunning who never failed to elevate each time she was on screen.”
