Netflix Scraps Halle Berry’s Sci-Fi Film ‘The Mothership’ After Multiple Post-Production Delays
Netflix won't be releasing "The Mother," a sci-fi film starring Halle Berry.
Matthew Charman directed “The Mothership,” which takes place one year after the husband of Berry’s character mysteriously vanishes from their rural farm. Berry will continue to work with Netflix on the action film “The Union,” about a construction worker (Mark Wahlberg) who is roped into the espionage world by his former high school girlfriend. Netflix also backed her directorial debut “Bruised,” a sports drama about a disgraced MMA fighter who reclaims her power.
