Netflix Reveals First Look at Five Tyler Perry Projects Including ‘Madea’s Destination Wedding’
Netflix shared first looks at Tyler Perry's 'Madea's Destination Wedding,' the new comedy 'She The People' and 'Straw' with Taraji P. Henson.
The plot kicks off when Brian (Madea’s nephew and Joe’s son, also played by Perry) and his ex-wife Debrah (Taja V. Simpson) learn that their daughter Tiffany (Diamond White) is engaged to a rapper she met on a yacht — and the wedding is in two weeks. The cast also includes Amber Reign Smith, Ricco Ross, Debbi Morgan, Richard Lawson, Steven G. Norfleet, Julian Horton, Terrell Carter, Shannon Wallace, Bryan Tanaka, Joy Rovaris, Xavier Smalls, Charles Malik Whitfield, Tamera “Tee” Kissen, Ursula O. Robinson, Ashley Versher, George Middlebrook and Ts Madison. Serayah McNeill, Tyler Lepley and Phylicia Rashad lead the ensemble cast, which also features musicians like Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds, Jermaine Dupri, Lecrae Moore and Yung Joc, as well as Walnette Santiago, Nijah Brenea, James Lee Thomas and Christopher Broughton.
