Netflix has renewed “Bad Thoughts,” the dark comedy created by and starring Tom Segura, for a second season.
Variety has learned exclusively that Netflix has officially picked up a second season of “Bad Thoughts,” the six-episode dark comedy created by and starring comedian Segura. Described as a “dark and twisted” exploration of unthinkable fantasies, the show gained a substantial following for its boundary-pushing tone and sharp comedic lens. The first season cast included Shea Whigham, Dan Stevens, Rachel Bloom and Rob Iler in his first role since “The Sopranos.” Segura’s mother had a visceral reaction when he screened the first few episodes for her, which the streaming giant leaned into for its marketing campaign.
