Netflix Renews ‘The Ultimatum’ and Spinoff ‘Queer Love’ — and Announces Three New Reality Series
Netflix is expanding its reality TV slate with a handful of renewals and new series, from 'The Ultimatum' to singing competition 'Building the Band.'
The spinoff series “The Ultimatum: Queer Love,” featuring only women and nonbinary people, will also return for a 10-episode second season, hosted by JoAnna Garcia Swisher. Incredible performances, compelling drama and one big goal: find the next great music band.” Executive producers include Cat Lawson, Alison Holloway, Katrina Morrison and Clara Elliot. Lastly, “Battle Camp” (working title) will unite stars from across the Netflix Reality Universe as they “face the ultimate physical and mental competition.” Contestants will compete in “high-octane challenges” and suffer “grueling punishments” in order to keep their name off of a spinning wheel that randomly determines who stays and who goes.
