Netflix Officially Announces The End Of ‘The Witcher’ Series

Netflix has announced that its hit series The Witcher, based on the novels by Andrzej Sapkowski, will end with its fifth season, with Liam Hemsworth as Geralt.

“It is with huge pride that we begin shooting our penultimate season of The Witcher with a stellar cast, including some exciting new additions, led by Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia,” creator and showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich told Netflix. Based on the series of books by Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski and developed for television by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich, The Witcher also stars Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan, and Joey Batey. Raised on a hearty dose of Marvel and DC comics, Rick combines his love for superheroes with a knack for writing about Hollywood's brightest.
