Netflix Greenlights “Next Iteration” Of ‘Life On Our Planet’ Series With Narrator Morgan Freeman, EP Steven Spielberg
Netflix has ordered a new iteration of its Morgan Freeman-narrated series 'Life on Our Planet,' to focus exclusively on dinosaurs.
EXCLUSIVE: Netflix has given the green light to what it calls the “next iteration” of its Emmy-contending documentary series Life on Our Planet, with Morgan Freeman set to return as narrator and Steven Spielberg as executive producer. Speaking of the new iteration of the show, he said, “This series, covering 170 million years, will immerse viewers in the awe-inspiring world of dinosaurs, capturing the majesty and drama of their lives in unprecedented detail.” Freeman, the Oscar-winning star of Million Dollar Baby, The Shawshank Redemption, and Driving Miss Daisy, has been nominated for an Emmy twice in the category of Best Narrator, for his work on Our Universe and March of the Penguins 2: The Next Step.
