After insisting publicly for years that it was not dead-set on pursuing sports rights, Netflix has made a landmark deal for one of cable TV’s staples, WWE ‘s Monday Night Raw. It will also stream the company’s roster of live events like WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Royal Rumble and also make WWE documentaries, original series and forthcoming projects available on demand outside the U.S. (Peacock has the domestic rights.)
