Netflix Gets Festive With Virtual Yule Logs for ‘Squid Game,’ ‘Bridgerton,’ ‘Spellbound’
Netflix launched three themed virtual yule logs, each 60 minute in length, based on 'Bridgerton,' 'Squid Game' and 'Spellbound.'
With less than two weeks to go before Christmas, Netflix has launched three themed virtual yule logs, each 60 minutes in length, based on Shonda Rhimes’ “Bridgerton” series, South Korean hit “Squid Game” (with Season 2 set to premiere Dec. 26) and animated film “Spellbound” from director Vicky Jenson with music by Alan Menken. The “Spellbound” yule log shows the enchanting forest of Wisteria glowing in the background in a scene pulled directly from the movie, soundtracked with Menken’s score. The company also called out “Squid Game: The Experience” in New York City, which lets visitors play “iconic challenges” from the show in real life.
