Netflix fans SLAM Avatar: The Last Airbender's series script and brand it a 'turd sandwich' after the eight-part adaptation finally hit streaming


Netflix fans have slammed the script in the new series of Avatar: The Last Airbender after it launched on Thursday. All eight episodes of the show were released on the streaming platform.

A fellow viewer was also disappointed with the new live-action remaking of the show, stating: 'I was 90% sure this was going to fail the moment they left the script and focused on activism. The Netflix series has a relatively unknown cast bar Daniel Dae Kim who portrays main antagonist, Fire Lord Ozai. Protagonist Aang is portrayed by Gordon Comier, his friends Katara and Sokka by Kiawentiio and Ian Ousley respectively, antagonist Prince Zuko by Dallas Liu, his sister Princess Azula by Elizabeth Yu, and his uncle Iroh by Paul Sun-Hyung Lee.
