Netflix fans are hailing an Oscar-winning movie as one of the best films they have ever seen after it dropped on the streaming platform at the start of this month.
The film's synopsis reads: 'When Tony Lip, a bouncer from an Italian-American neighbourhood in the Bronx, is hired to drive Dr Don Shirley, a world-class Black pianist, on a concert tour from Manhattan to the Deep South, they must rely on 'The Green Book' to guide them to the few establishments that were then safe for African-Americans. At the 2019 Oscars, Green Book saw off competition from Black Panther, Bohemian Rhapsody and A Star Is Born to win Best Picture.
