Netflix will attempt to unravel an 18-year mystery surrounding the death of Nora Dalmasso in a true-crime documentary. Pulse Films is producing.
Dalmasso’s body was found in her daughter’s bedroom with the cloth belt of her robe tied in a double knot around her neck. The finger has also been wrongly pointed at Dalmasso’s son, Facundo Macarron, in a case that is widely considered to have been mismanaged, resulting in protests in Río Cuarto and the resignations of police officials and prosecutors, per reports. In a 2007 report on the murder in The LA Times, the newspaper said Dalmasso was emblematic of a “flawless wife and mother” who lived in an exclusive part of town.
