Netflix crime thriller leads US Top 10 movies chart despite being a box office bomb nearly four years ago

Netflix's U.S. Top 10 movies chart currently features a crime thriller that was released nearly four years ago.

Much of the recent popularity could be attributed to the increased interest in crime television as well as the star-studded cast, which also includes familiar faces Dakota Fanning and Patrick Dempsey. The film follows a New York detective named Jacob Kanon — played by Morgan — as he hunts down a serial killer after his daughter was murdered during her honeymoon in London. The movie is directed by award-winning director Danis Tanović, who is critically acclaimed for many films with the exception of his first American venture.
