Netflix Argentina Slate Includes Adaptations Of Graphic Novel ‘El Eternauta’ & Comic Strip ‘Mafalda’ And A Local Version Of ‘Love Is Blind’

Netflix has unveiled a deep slate of originals out of Argentina including an animated adaptation of iconic comic strip Mafalda from Oscar-winning director Juan José Campanella. There are several movies including Diego Lerman’s El hombre que amaba los platos voladores, which will play in competition at the San Sebastián Film Festival. Miss Carbón, will star Lux Pascal and is inspired by the true story of a trans woman who became a miner in a town where women were prohibited from entering the mine.
