Netflix Adds New Subtitling And Dubbing Options For TV Viewers

Netflix, which generates one-third of its viewing from non-English-language films and series, has added new subtitling and dubbing options to its TV app.

With nearly one-third of all Netflix viewing being registered for non-English titles, the streaming giant has just unlocked more language options for subscribers looking for both subtitles and dubbing. Starting today, viewers will be able to pick from the full list of available languages for any title when watching on a TV set. A key ingredient in Netflix’s growth to 303 million global subscribers has been its ability to cross-pollinate territories and languages with titles like Squid Game, Berlin, Lupin, Who Killed Sara?, Troll, and All Quiet on the Western Front.
