Neon Takes North American Rights To Arthur Harari’s ‘The Unknown’ Starring Léa Seydoux

Léa Seydoux has signed on to star.

His previous feature as writer-director was 2021’s critically acclaimed Onoda: 10,000 Nights in the Jungle which opened Un Certain Regard at Cannes that year and went on to win the Best Original Screenplay César. Neon’s slate currently includes Steven Soderbergh’s Presence, which made its world premiere in Sundance, where Neon picked up the worldwide rights, Keeper from Osgood Perkins, starring Tatiana Maslany and Rossif Sutherland, and They Follow, the sequel to the cult classic It Follows from visionary David Robert Mitchell, starring Maika Monroe. The distributor also recently scooped the North American rights to Julia Ducournau’s Alpha, whom they previously collaborated with on the Palme d’Or winner Titane.
