Nelly Says He 'Felt Like a Dick' After 'Miscommunication' Sparked Feud with Eminem: 'Glad We Squashed That'

Nelly apologized to Eminem for their brief feud in the early 2000s on The Bootleg Kev podcast, saying it began because of a "miscommunication."

The “Hot in Herre” rapper, 50, appeared on The Bootleg Kev podcast on Monday, March 24, and offered an apology to Eminem, 52, explaining that the two are cool now after a brief feud in the early 2000s. In response, Nelly took a jab at the “Lose Yourself” rapper during an appearance on MTV’s Total Request Live, famously saying that he didn’t appreciate Eminem’s “sly little comments” and quipping, “I don’t play with candy. Even so, Eminem responded to Nelly’s TRL diss at the time by calling him out on the 2002 song “Invasion,” which is mainly thought to be directed at Ja Rule and Benzino.
