Neil Patrick Harris is mourning the 'massive loss' of a beloved furry family member.
The Emmy Award winner, 51, announced the death of his family's 4-year-old golden retriever Eleanor 'Ella' Menopee in his Wondercade newsletter after 'the freakest of accidents' happened while the dog was with the sitter. He explained that their friend 'found her in the front yard, lying in the grass' after 'a tree branch had somehow gotten caught in her collar, and in trying to get it free, she rolled around on the ground and it wrapped around her neck.'
