Neil Gaiman Accused of Human Trafficking, Sexual Abuse in New Lawsuit
The author’s estranged wife Amanda Palmer is also named.
The allegations took place in New Zealand in 2022, but Pavlovich’s lawyers filed the case in Wisconsin, where Gaiman owns a home. As first reported in a Tortoise Media podcast, and expanded on at length in a New York magazine cover story last month, Pavlovich met Palmer in Auckland in 2020, when she was 22 years old. The two became friendly and Palmer occasionally asked Pavlovich to babysit, eventually offering her a job as a live-in nanny in both her and Gaiman’s houses on the island of Waiheke.
