Neil Cavuto Exits Fox News After 28 Years

Neil Cavuto, a longtime anchor on Fox News who joined when it launched in 1996, is exiting the cable news network.

Cavuto’s contract with Fox News was due to expire at the end of 2024; the network offered him a new deal and he declined, a source familiar with the situation said. “Neil Cavuto’s illustrious career has been a master class in journalism and we’re extremely proud of his incredible 28-year run with Fox News Media,” a rep for the network said in a statement. Fox News Media will announce new programming in the new year on FNC and FBN to replace Cavuto’s timeslots.
