Neighbours child star Miranda Fryer, who played Sky Mangel as a toddler in the long-running Australian soap, tragically died in January 2022 at the age of just 34. Miranda had joined Neighbours as an adorable toddler at only 18 months old back in 1989 and her character was notably the first child actor to receive a contract on the show. While the character of Sky made a return in 2003, portrayed by Stephanie McIntosh, Miranda herself had stepped away from acting, pursuing a career in nursing instead.
