Igbokwe’s promotion – she will continue to lead Universal Studio Group – is not a surprise given the industry has been chattering about NBCU moving back to a vertically integrated network/studio model for around six months. “This new structure will bring together our Television Studios, NBC Entertainment, Bravo and Peacock programming as one cohesive organization, bolstered by fully integrated Marketing and Content Strategy teams. Friedman has also been promoted to Chief Communications Officer, NBCUniversal, reporting to COO Adam Miller and Chip Sullivan is taking on a new role as EVP, Corporate Initiatives.
