NBC’s Native American Community Center Comedy Pilot Casts Jana Schmieding, Bobby Wilson, Wes Studi, Rachel Dratch (EXCLUSIVE)

NBC's comedy pilot set at a Native American community center in Oakland has found its first four cast members.

Variety has learned exclusively that Jana Schmieding, Bobby Wilson, Wes Studi, and Rachel Dratch are all attached to star in the untitled single-cam comedy. The official logline for the project states that it is “An ensemble comedy set at a Native community center in Oakland, Calif. The role reunites Schmieding with the show’s creative team, as she was previously the lead on the Peacock comedy “Rutherford Falls.” Teller Ornelas co-created that series and served as showrunner, while Sackett was an executive producer.
