NBC to Air Variety Special in Celebration of Network’s 100th Anniversary
NBC is celebrating 100 years on the airwaves with a variety special spectacular.
The announcement was made by Tina Fey and Amy Poehler — who have both been associated with NBC for over two decades — during the NBCUniversal upfront presentation to advertisers on Monday at Radio City Music Hall. “Hosted by a mix of legendary NBC alumni and today’s biggest stars, the night will be filled with memorable music performances, comedy tributes, behind the scenes stories and surprise reunions,” Fey said. Some of the biggest shows in NBC history do include “Saturday Night Live,” “Seinfeld,” the “Law & Order” franchise, “I Dream of Jeannie,” “Cheers,” “Frasier,” and many more.
