NBC Sets Annual Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Special With Mickey Guyton & Zuri Hall As Hosts

NBC is gearing up for its annual Macy's 4th of July Fireworks special, set to air live on Thursday, July 4 from 8-10 pm on the network and Peacock.

For the first time in over a decade, the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks will be moving to the west side of Manhattan, launching from barges along the Hudson River. Additional effects include cross rings, strobing comets, waterfalls, Saturn circles, crackling pistils and special ghost pyro that alternates colors featuring multiple hues, NBC says. The broadcast also will highlight individuals across the nation who are championing sustainability, accessibility, visibility for underrepresented groups, artistic expression and more, according to NBC.
