NBC Orders Crime Procedural ‘The Hunting Game’ From JJ Bailey and Jake Coburn

NBC has given a series order to 'The Hunting Game,' a crime procedural from JJ Bailey and Jake Coburn.

Per the official logline, “The Hunting Game” is “a high-concept crime procedural about a small team of investigators who are assembled to track down and capture the most dangerous killers our country has ever seen, all of whom have just escaped from a top-secret prison that’s not supposed to exist.” This is Bailey’s first series order since entering his UTV deal in 2022, though he previously set up drama pilot “Echo” at NBC. Produced by Julie Plec, the thriller series followed an international arms dealer (Morena Baccarin) who orchestrated bank heists from prison and the FBI agent (Ryan Michelle Bathé) working to foil her plans.
