Sergei Bachlakov/NBCBehavioral science Professor Alec Mercer ( Jesse L. Martin) used his “unique expertise in psychology, body language, emotion and more to help solve difficult, high-stakes cases” in NBC’s The Irrational for two seasons. Nicole Weingart/NBC Suits LA – starring Stephen Amell( Arrow), Lex Scott Davis( The First Purge), Josh McDermitt( The Walking Dead) and Bryan Greenberg( Bride Wars) – got the axe after only airing one season in early 2025.
