NBA YoungBoy Set to Be Released from Prison This Summer After Plea Deal on Gun Charges


YoungBoy Never Broke Again has been set for prison release in July, according to federal records, after being sentenced to two years on gun charges.

NBA YoungBoy) will be released from prison this summer, according to federal inmate records — far sooner than indicated by his formal two-year sentence handed down last month. YoungBoy, a prolific rapper who has had four albums reach the top of the Billboard 200, was indicted by federal prosecutors in March 2021 after he was allegedly found with two guns during a music video shoot in September 2020 in Baton Rouge, La. Because of an earlier felony conviction from 2017, the rapper was charged with violating a federal law that bans felons from possessing guns.
