Nate Bargatze to Host CBS Primetime Special Taped at Grand Ole Opry


Nate Bargatze is set to make his primetime television debut. The popular stand up comedian will host a holiday variety special that will air on CBS

Per CBS, the special will feature Bargatze as master of ceremonies as he takes the audience through stand up, pre-taped comedy shorts, sketches, and musical performances. The special represents a homecoming for Bargatze, who previously worked at the Grand Ole Opry as an entry-level employee early in his career. Bargatze is working with “Saturday Night Live’s” Mikey Day and co-head writer Streeter Seidell on the special.
