It follows a group of fisherman from Gloucester, Masschusetts as they rod and reel fish bluefin tuna. The show, which also had a spinoff set in North Carolina, was a perfect example of cable fare, a long-running reality series that followed people with jobs. Nat Geo said that the series “celebrated one of America’s oldest industries” and “made internationally recognizable stars out of the intrepid commercial fishermen who brave the unrelenting North Atlantic waters to catch the elusive bluefin tuna” in a post on social media.
