Nascent Studio 5X Strikes Production & Talent Deal With Anthony Kimble
5X Media has partnered with Anthony Kimble & Arrested Industries on 20 development projects including Johannes Radebe's memoir.
Arrested said it has more than 20 film and TV projects in development, including a Deadline-revealed adaptation of Strictly Come Dancing dancer Johannes Radebe ‘s memoir JoJo: Finally Home, Becoming Eve, with writer and Nurse Jackie creator Evan Dunsky attached as showrunner, and Bitter Eden, based on the award-winning novel. 5X was launched last year by The Hitman’s Bodyguard producer Scott Einbinder, who has since segued to Executive Chairman, while Alon Shtruzman and Gil Goldschein, who used to run Keshet International and Bunim/Murray respectively, recently joined as co-CEOs. Shtruzman and Goldschein said: “The addition of Anthony and his Arrested Industries’ portfolio instantly supercharges our already impressive slate of projects, reinforcing our intention to be a global player in the content production and management business.
