Nas To Perform Songs From ‘Illmatic’ With Live Orchestra In Las Vegas

Titled “Nas With the Las Vegas Philharmonic,” the series of shows will take place Aug. 29, Aug. 31- Sept. 1.

Dubbed Nas With the Las Vegas Philharmonic, the hip-hop icon will perform tracks from his classic debut and his entire discography on Aug. 29 and Aug. 31 through Sept. 1. Hailed as one the greatest albums of all time, Illmatic featured production from Large Professor, Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest, DJ Premier, and Pete Rock. In 1994 the album received a 5-mic rating from The Source Magazine and was selected by the Library of Congress for preservation in the National Recording Registry for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" in 2020.
