Nadiya Bychkova breaks silence on Strictly Come Dancing complaint after being 'first professional to speak with the BBC' amid misconduct scandal


It was previously reported earlier on Friday that the dancer and ex Kai Widdrington were amongst those keen to raise issues with the BBC amid the ongoing misconduct probe.

The pair, who began dating in 2022 after she danced with former BBC Breakfast host Dan Walker, are understood to have gone their separate ways in June, at the end of their lucrative tour Behind the Magic. The new measures include a member of the production team being present during training room rehearsals at all times, and increased support for both celebrity contestants and the professional dancers. Kate Phillips, BBC's Director of Unscripted, said: 'Whilst we know our shows have been positive experiences for the vast majority of those who have taken part, if issues are raised with us, or we're made aware of inappropriate behaviour, we will always take that seriously and act.
