N.Y.C. Mayor Eric Adams May Revoke Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Key to the City After Cassie Assault Video

New York City Mayor Eric Adams is considering revoking Sean 'Diddy’ Combs’ key to the city after a 2016 video of the music mogul assaulting his ex, singer Cassie, surfaced on May 17. It would mark the first time the city has ever rescinded a key.

“After years in silence and darkness, I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships,” Ventura said in a statement at the time. “With the expiration of New York’s Adult Survivors Act fast approaching, it became clear that this was an opportunity to speak up about the trauma I have experienced and that I will be recovering from for the rest of my life.” "As of today, law enforcement has not presented a case related to the attack depicted in the video against Mr. Combs," the office shared in a statement on social media.
