My Chemical Romance Dig Up Rare Live Tracks for ‘Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge’ Reissue
My Chemical Romance have dug up some rare live tracks for the upcoming reissue of their seminal sophomore LP, 'Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge.'
Among the previously unreleased recordings are live versions of “I’m Not OK (I Promise),” “Helena,” and “The Ghost of You,” while also included is a performance “You Know What They Do to Guys Like Us in Prison,” which was originally released as a B-side on a limited edition UK CD single of “I’m Not Okay.” Along with the bonus tracks, the Three Cheers deluxe edition will feature a newly remixed and remastered version of the album, helmed by Grammy-winning producer Rich Costey. While Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge is getting the reissue treatment this year, it’s MCR’s other landmark album — 2006’s The Black Parade — that they’ll be celebrating on their upcoming summer tour.
