Music Sustainability Summit Announces Speakers, Agenda for April Event


The Music Sustainability Summit announced the speakers and agenda for the April event, which was earlier postponed due to the Los Angeles wildfires.

Music Sustainability Alliance staff Kurt Langer, Amy Morrison, Eleanor Anderson, and Michael Martin Gilbert Flores Designing for Impact: The Critical Role of Production Entertainment Allies: Strategies in Film, Sports and Broadway Power Shift: The Evolving Landscape of Clean Energy Recipe for Success: Why Menus Matter Most Wear the Change: Rethinking Merch Speakers will include Maggie Baird, the mother of Billie Eilish and Finneas and the founder of food security and climate change nonprofit Support + Feed; Rev Lennox Yearwood, Jr., a minister, community activist and president of the Hip-Hop Caucus, which works to empowers young people to participate in elections, policymaking and service projects; and John Fernandez and Norhan Bayomi, co-founders of the MIT Climate Machine, who will present a preview of their study of the live music industry’s carbon footprint, which was funded and supported by Warner Music Group, Live Nation, Coldplay and Hope Solutions.
