Music legend's jaw-dropping UK mansion goes on sale for £11.5 million


Singer-songwriter Kate Bush's stunning former home, where she recorded a plethora of music, is on the market for an eye-watering £11.5 million, according to listing agency Strutt & Parker

Kate purchased the Grade II listed Georgian home in the 1990s when she was pregnant with her son, Bertie, and she resided there with her husband, Danny McIntosh, until 2011. The property, located on the river Kennet near a picturesque village called Theale, was constructed in the early 1800s as a miller's house for the nearby watermill. Speaking to Emma Barnett on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme in October, she enthused: “I’m very keen to start working on a new album.
