Mum-of-two dies after travelling to Turkey for 'mummy MOT' surgery she hoped would change her life
Mum of two Kaydell Brown, 38 has heartbreakingly died after travelling to a clinic in Turkey for what is known as a 'Mummy MOT' - a Brazilian butt lift, tummy tuck and boob job.
Her sister Leanne Brown, 40, who was set to undergo the same procedures by the same surgeon, has fiercely criticised the Istanbul clinic, comparing it to a "pop-up butcher shop that needs shutting down" following the devastating event. Kaydell was a mother to two sons aged 12 and 16 (Image: No credit)Opening up about the ordeal on ITV News, a beleaguered Leanne recounted how, in the immediate aftermath of her sister's passing, she was coldly presented with a cash refund and hastily arranged return travel, expressing her horror at the clinic's insensitivity: "It's like, 'Sorry she's dead, here's your plane ticket'." When questioned by the Mirror and ITV about Kaydell's death, clinic bosses said the "cause can only be identified by the coroner's office" but their "deduction" pointed to a "fat emboli blocking a lung blood vessel".
