Mum-of-five dead after doctors told her problem was 'nothing to worry about'
Christine, 41, was told she had sciatica but later discovered it was cancer and died just ten months after her diagnosis, her heartbroken family is now urging others to get checked
Her cousin, Clare Purvis, also 41, opened up to the Liverpool Echo about the ordeal and explains that two years ago, Christine found a "lump on her kidneys" but was told by doctors it was nothign to worry about. As her condition deteriorated, Clare shared how Christine endured worsening back and leg pain, which doctors initially attributed to sciatica and arthritis. As a result Christine sought medical advice again, at which time they took bloods and scans, then she was tragically "told she had cancer in her spine and in her hip and kidney".
