Mubi will exclusively stream Courtney Stephens and Callie Hernandez's indie film 'Invention' in North America.
Mubi will exclusively debut Courtney Stephens and Callie Hernandez’s semi-autobiographical conspiracy film “ Invention ” on streaming in North America. “Invention” debuted at the 2024 edition of the Locarno Film Festival, where Hernandez won the Pardo for best performance in the Filmmakers of the Present Section of the fest. The film comes from Jacket Weather and Hernandez’s Neurotika Haus banner, which co-produced Pete Ohs’ “The True Beauty of Being Bitten by a Tick,” a premiere at SXSW earlier this year.
