MTV Video Music Awards to Air on CBS for the First Time in 2025
The MTV VMAs will air on CBS live for the first time this September.
The show will air on CBS — and be “simulcast” on MTV, as the announcement puts it — from the UBS Arena on Sept. 7 at 8-11 p.m. ET/5-8 p.m. PT, live across time zones. WIth the show still being five months out from its air date, no other details, such as nominations, hosts or performers, have yet been announced, beyond the return to UBS Arena. Barb Bialkowski is the co-executive producer, with Alicia Portugal and Jackie Barba set as executives in charge of production.
