MSNBC To Host Forum For Candidates To Lead Democratic National Committee
A large field of candidates is seeking to lead the party.
MSNBC and Georgetown’s Institute of Politics and Public Service will host a forum for candidates to lead the Democratic National Committee on Jan. 30, with the event streamed on the network’s YouTube channel. Moderators include Jonathan Capehart, Jen Psaki, and Symone Sanders Townsend, as well as Luke Russert, who is creative director of MSNBC Live. After the losses in the 2024 election, Democrats are searching for the way forward, with plenty of post-mortem calls for a rebrand or overhaul of the party.
