MSNBC Preempts ‘Morning Joe’ For Breaking News Of Trump Assassination Attempt


The show will return on Tuesday, the network said.

CNN, citing a person familiar with the matter, reported that the decision was made out of concern a guest “might make an inappropriate comment” that would create a larger backlash against the show and network. Scarborough posted on X/Twitter on Sunday, “Our family is praying this morning for President Trump, those injured yesterday, and for the loved ones of the American tragically killed. NBC News will be airing a primetime sit down interview with President Joe Biden tonight, but that will take place from the White House.
