One of those extraordinary television moments, and now really a time to pause, stare, and wonder, “Wait a second…?” It is nearly impossible for me to fathom how a bad-tempered tantrum ensued on the network when Donald Trump went ahead and granted asylum to white South Africans who were facing violent persecution within their own country. By “tantrum,” I mean an unbelievable eyewitness meltdown characterized by screams of “white supremacy” and other equally ridiculous and baseless claims of the matter. Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy, even went so far down that line of reasoning to discount the violence inflicted on white farmers in South Africa as just a “small handful” of instances.
