Ms. Lauryn Hill Says The Fugees' U.S. Tour Was Canceled Due to Low Ticket Sales

In a statement, the “Ex-Factor” hitmaker blamed the media for sensationalizing her canceled shows last year.

The “Ex-Factor” hitmaker said the low ticket sales were due to unnamed media outlets sensationalizing last year’s concert cancelations. “Regrettably, some media outlet’s penchant for sensationalism and clickbait headlines have seemingly created a narrative that has affected ticket sales for the North American portion of the tour. However, Hill & The Fugees did not cancel their UK and Europe tour dates, which begins in Manchester, England, on Oct. 12 and ends in Amsterdam on Oct. 22, with stops in London and Paris.
