MPX is launching sales in Cannes on Michael Shannon darts comedy 'Bulls'
Motion Picture Exchange ( MPX) is launching worldwide sales at the Cannes market on sports comedy “Bulls” starring Michael Shannon, who also produced the indie film set in the world of competitive darts. The indie film is the second feature from Plot 4 Prods., the company founded by Shannon, Meyer, Christian Chadd Taylor and Seth Henrikson. Shannon recently starred in TV series such as “George & Tammy” (for which he received an Emmy nomination), “Waco” and “Nine Perfect Strangers.” He has been nominated for two Academy Awards — one for “Nocturnal Animals” and another for “Revolutionary Road.” His other film roles include “The Shape of Water” and his many collaborations with Jeff Nichols on films like “Take Shelter,” “Midnight Special,” “Mud” and “The Bikeriders.”
