MPSE Donating Up To $100K Toward L.A. Wildfire Relief Effort, Launches Online Forum & Donations Portal
The Motion Picture Sound Editors is donating $50,000 to wildfire relief efforts amid the ongoing disaster in Los Angeles County.
The 72-year-old global sound artists org also created an online community forum to facilitate communication and support among its members. The MPSE Board of Directors convened Thursday night specifically to address the impact of the fires on the entertainment community. “Many of us have resources such as gear, equipment, computers, software licenses, furniture, space, etc., to donate directly to other members who have lost everything as they face the challenging roads ahead.
