Mormon Wives' Mikayla Opens Up About Being Sexually Abused as a Child


Mormon Wives' Mikayla Matthews detailed her past of sexual abuse, the emotional burden it carried and her subsequent path to understanding trauma

“I feel like it’s hard … to pinpoint an age of where it all started because I did open up [during season 2 of Mormon Wives] about being sexually abused, and that happened before we moved to Utah,” Matthews, 25, said on the Wednesday, May 21, episode of “The Squeeze” podcast. Season 1 of hit reality series, which follows a group of Mormon mom influencers, debuted on Hulu in September 2024 following star Taylor Frankie Paul‘s “soft swinging” sex scandal.
